Abstract

This study was performed in Trakya University Arboretum, an isolated area with its rich floral elements, in order to determine the Lepidopteran species new for Thrace Region and Edirne. Specimens were collected during spring and summer in 2008 using a trap during daytime, and during autumn and winter in 2008 and 2009 using a light trap. The identification of the collected material revealed 18 species from 7 families of which 5 are new records for Turkish Thrace and 13 for Edirne Province Lepidoptera fauna.
