Abstract
In this study, the earring, which occurring at the end of the cup, is investigated depend on the blank holder force in cylindrical deep drawing process. Al 1050 aluminum sheet metal, which has 2 mm thickness, is used as a sample. The effects of constant and variable blank holder forces depend on the punch displacement are compared. The effects of different blank holding types, which is drawn under the variable blank holder forces, are compared as well. It is understand that constant blank holder force is directly proportional with cup height. Meanwhile, increasing of the earring is observed depend on the increasing of constant blank holder force. It is seen that BHF types (which are taken part in the previous studies and obtained by theoretically, experimentally and numerically) are directly affect the result. In order to obtain deeper and smoother cup, it is observed that BHF must be varied during the deep drawing.
