Abstract

The different definitions, classification and a part of the properties of the mineralogical additives were told in the first part of this study. Continue of the mineralogical additives properties and usage areas, results and discussions were explained in paper’s this second part. The most extensively usage area of the mineralogical additives is added in cement manufacture as raw materials and in concrete production as admixture materials. As well as this using of the mineralogical additives, they were used as additive materials in manufacturing of brick and ceramic and non–bearing division wall and in consolidate of construction base in the past. In Turkey, amount of the using mineralogical additives is lower than the other countries. The mineralogical additives from industrial wastes are developed positive way in measurable ratio the physical properties of construction materials like cement and concrete as a result. Using of the industrial wastes (artificial pozzolana) can be providing income to economy in manufacturing of construction materials.
