ABSTRACT

In this research, heating requirements of tomato, cucumber and eggplant were calculated for the glasshouse established in the land of T.U. Tekirdag Agricultural Faculty. Beside that chemical and energy contents of the low pressured (0.2 kg/cm²) natural gas coming out of the opened water well beside the glasshouse were and it was researched that whether it can be used for the glasshouse heating or not. According to the evaluation of the obtained results, it was decided that the natural gas could be used for the aim of heating to grow various crops and increase the yield and it can meet the heating requirement of the glasshouse.
